Existing Technician Information

If you received an Existing Technician Gas License from the State of New Hampshire, you will need to complete the following educational classes prior to the first renewal of your License:

8 hours of NFPA 54 training

8 hours of some other type of Gas training course

Make sure you keep copies of all your proof of education and be sure to send the originals to the Fire Marshal’s Office with your renewal forms.

FOR THOSE WHO HOLD A MASSACHUSETTS  PLUMBERS & GAS FITTER'S LICENSE:  

The portion of the education you are required to take for your  Massachusetts license that pertains to gas fitting can be used towards the related continuing education (non-NFPA 54) training hours required for your New Hampshire Gas Fitters License renewal. It cannot be used towards the required 8 hour NFPA 54 training portion.
